Straight lines and textured timbers contrast beautifully with a sun-soaked view of sunflowers in this composite from two separate New South Wales locations. The timbers are old, dating from the 1880s. They are part of the historic Coolamine Homestead, which is now preserved within the borders of Kosciuszko National Park. Here, with the help of a little computer wizardry, the window is given a new view, brightly lit with a clear sky and the golden yellow of sunflowers in full bloom. It is a conjunction that is not only fun to look at, but also symbolic: Our own age is founded upon the heritage of the past.
